1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how DARMIS TECHNOLOGY LLC ("Click and Copy", "we", "us") handles your data when you use our OCR document workspace. By using the service, you agree to this policy.

2. Data we collect

We collect the following types of data:

• Account data: your name, email address, and authentication details, managed through WorkOS.
• Billing data: subscription and payment records, processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
• Uploaded documents: the files you upload for OCR processing, and the text extracted from them.
• Usage data: basic technical information such as log entries and credit usage that helps us run and secure the service.

3. How we use your data

We use your data to:

• provide the OCR workspace and process your documents;
• authenticate your account and keep it secure;
• process subscriptions, payments, and credit balances;
• give support and respond to your requests; and
• operate, maintain, and improve the service and meet legal duties.

4. Uploaded documents and retention

When you upload a document, its pages are sent to our OCR provider for text extraction, and the file and its extracted text are stored so you can view and use them in your workspace. We store documents to operate the service for you.

You can delete your documents from your workspace. When you delete a document or close your account, we remove the related files and extracted text within a reasonable period, except where we must keep limited records to meet legal, security, or accounting duties.

5. Third-party processors

We share data with service providers only as needed to run the service. Our main providers are:

• WorkOS — authentication and account sign-in.
• Stripe — subscription billing and payment processing.
• Cloudflare — hosting, along with R2 object storage and a database for your workspace data.
• Microsoft Azure Document Intelligence — OCR text extraction from your uploaded pages.

6. Cookies and sessions

We use cookies and similar technology that are needed to sign you in and keep your session active. These are used to run the service securely rather than for third-party advertising.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your data, such as the right to access, correct, or delete it, or to object to or restrict some processing. You can exercise many of these rights directly in your account, or by contacting us.

We will respond to valid requests as the applicable law requires.

8. Data deletion

You can delete documents from your workspace at any time, and you can ask us to close your account and delete your data. To make a deletion request, contact us at support@darmis.ai. We may need to keep limited records to meet legal or accounting duties.

9. Data security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No method of storage or transmission is fully secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. International transfers

Our providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

11. Changes to this policy

We can update this policy. If a change is material, we will give reasonable notice, for example by email or in the service. Your continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.
